Who is responsible
easythings is the controller for the personal data described here. Reach us on WhatsApp.
What we collect
Only what you type into the demo request form:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company name
Formspree, a form provider based in the United States, delivers the form. It processes the submission on our instructions and passes it to us by email. We do not ask for any data about your customers or your internal systems in this form.
When you send the form, your browser also opens WhatsApp with the same details filled in, so you can message us directly. Sending that message is up to you; if you do, WhatsApp, run by Meta, handles it under its own terms.
Why we may use it
To answer your request and arrange a demo. The legal basis is your request itself, which counts as steps taken before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell or share these details with anyone outside the processing described above.
How long we keep it
Twelve months from your last contact with us, unless a conversation is still open or a contract makes a longer period necessary. After that we delete the record.
What this site measures
We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics. It records aggregate page views, which links and buttons people use, and how far down the page they read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, builds no profile, and does not track you across other sites. This site shows no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Where data is stored
Analytics data is stored in the European Union. Form submissions are processed by Formspree in the United States, which is a transfer outside the European Union; it relies on the safeguards the GDPR recognizes for such transfers.
If you message us on WhatsApp, Meta processes that message, which may also involve transfers outside the European Union.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Contact us on WhatsApp and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. We email anyone who has already contacted us about changes that affect them.
